Aim :

  • In-house development of low cost digital oscilloscope, function generator and digital voltmeter

  • Implementation of digital hysteresis current controller for motor drive

Implementation :

  • PIC18F452 was chosen for its low cost, easy availability and speed.

  • In-built ADC was utilized and DAC circuit was external

Digital Current Controller
  • Developed algorithm for hysteresis current controller for an SRM motor drive

  • Implemented controller code on PIC18F452

  • Interfaced keyboard to select function type i.e. sine, square, saw tooth etc.

  • Look-up table based waveform generation
